We are looking for an experienced developer who would be comfortable or has demonstrated experience working with Shopify to join our team .
The role will be expected to be comfortable with full-stack: front-end development of designs that our creative team mocks up (HTML, CSS, JS/JS frameworks) , back-end development of Shopify scripts (JS/Ruby) and integrating APIs and “connecting the pipes” between front end apps and back end apps like Shopify, Klaviyo, Recharge Payments, and external cloud services / APIs.
You’ll be hands on in developing landing pages, modifying existing pages, bug fixes, implementing new features, developing scripts to modify shopping cart contents and pricing, and connecting with the backend APIs.
Requirements
- Must be able to comfortably work within the Shopify ecosystem (Shopify Payments, Scripts, and Customizations)
- Javascript based language or Ruby, HTML & CSS
- Must be able to participate in our Jira (what we use to communicate) to take part in diagnosing urgent website incidents or bug triaging
